Hazel and Gareth’s log cabin in Broad Haven is clean, well equipped and cosy yet spacious. The cabin is dog friendly but due to the outstanding cleanliness, there is no trace that dogs have been there before!
The log cabin is the perfect location. Just a ten minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach which can be enjoyed at any time of the year and, from the beach, easy accessibility to the coastal path where the fascinating geology can really be appreciated.
Hazel and Gareth are wonderful hosts. They are friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. It’s nice to know they are on hand for any issues but they certainly won’t be bothering you!
We returned from our stay yesterday morning and had booked our return holiday next year by the afternoon.

Fantastic location for exploring beautiful Pembrokeshire, stunning beaches and great walks. Hazel and Gareth are brilliant hosts and have put a lot of hard work in to make this such a great space.
We were looking for a lovely relaxing holiday, in the beautiful area of west Wales and we weren’t disappointed. Our hosts Hazel and Gareth couldn’t do enough for us, whatever we needed, they were happy to help. Everything is provided and all electric goods are high-end and work perfectly. The lodge itself is magical! The photos really don’t do it justice. On first sight all we could say is ‘wow’! Even my boys (12 & 9) were so in awe and taken aback with how beautiful it is. So much thought had been put into the cabin, from the building and structure, to the grounds and the small details of the copper pipe-work for funky little space saving design. We loved it! The viewing area is breadth-taking and once again thought has been put into planted wildflowers giving it vibrancy. We took our dog with us and there are some lovely walks around the area, which is great for the whole family to explore. The beach is clean with crystal clear waters – one area of the beach you can take dogs, the other you can’t – which is a great idea. We will definitely be coming back!
We had a great week staying at Sunnybank lodge. The cabin itself is amazing and in a really nice location. We found it spotlessly clean and finished to a really high standard with everything we needed for the four of us (2 adults, 2 kids age 12 & 15) to have a really comfortable holiday. Lovey big walk in shower inside and the warm outdoor shower was a real bonus after trips to the beach. It was great to have space at the back for the dog and I really enjoyed sitting up at the bench taking in the view. Hazel and Gareth are relaxed and really friendly and provided everything we needed to know before we arrived. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back in the future.

The cabin was everything we could have hoped for. Spotless, well equipped, brilliantly located and our hosts were wonderful. We would recommend a stay here to anyone. The view from the sundowner spot was to die for!
The cabin was a real joy. All the little details have been so carefully thought through. The mattress was really comfortable and we slept well. We had everything we needed. The area is stunning and a great place if you enjoy beaches and walking. Great to be able to bring our dogs who had a wonderful time. Especially liked the secluded sun trap garden area and the seats on the hill for stunning views. Thank you for everything.

We had a fantastic week staying in Sunnybank Lodge. Situated in a tranquil part of broad Haven surrounded by nature, the log cabin is stunning, inside and out. It’s fitted out to a high standard and very well equipped, including for children. The outdoor shower was a particular favourite after a day at the beach. The sunset from the top of the bank is not to be missed either. Hazel and Gareth had thought of everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible and were more than happy to share local knowledge about the best places to go. We can’t wait to come back and stay in this beautiful log cabin again!
Four of us + our 2 dogs stayed at Sunnybank log cabin for a long weekend. It was perfect! Hazel and Gareth were very friendly and attentive hosts, the accommodation is really lovely and finished to a very high standard. The weather was very hot but the wood cabin stayed cool which meant we all had amazing sleep! The location is perfect, just a short walk/drive to the very clean and dog friendly beach. The private seating area above the cabin has stunning views of the coast and is a lovely place to enjoy an evening drink and watch the sun set. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay 🙂
This is lovely place and location to stay in Broad Haven. Hazel and Gareth were really helpful and welcoming. It’s also an ideal location for exploring the rest of Pembrokshire. We’d love stay again.
